I’m Allie. And this is my blog I started with no real direction. But that’s what made it fun. Now that we are starting to homeschool…it’s turning more into an accountability blog recording our journey through school. This is our first year and we are starting with preschool.
My husband for quite some time has told me I should start my own blog. It sounded too difficult to me. And it is. But why not even if it does prove to be difficult? My husband has always been very supportive of my writing. Anything writing related… he’s my biggest fan. He thinks that I should write children’s books. I’ve tried to explain to him, it’s not that easy.
I suppose I shouldn’t disappoint you, after all I did name this “About Allie.” So I suppose I should tell you a little something about myself. I’m a mother of one, but two if you count her father. I’m a stay at home mom. I’m home decor challenged. I was a first grade teacher before Missy was born. I love to wear flip flops instead of real shoes. I’m always looking for a good deal. I try to be crafty. I think peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are better after you’ve taken a cookie cutter to them. I cherish the little things in life, like tea parties. And I believe in love at first sight.
